Dato’ Dr. Y. C. Lee
Dato’ Dr. Y. C. Lee is the founder and Chairman of LEC. He is also currently the Medical Superintendent of Perak Community Specialist Hospital.
Dr. Lee Mun Wai
Medical Director and Retinal Surgeon
Dr. Lee Mun Wai is a Consultant Ophthalmologist, Vitreoretinal Surgeon and the Medical Director of LEC. He graduated from the University of Manchester,
...UK and completed his training in Ophthalmology at the Singapore National Eye Centre in 2007. He subsequently went on to subspecialty training in Retina at Lions Eye Institute in Perth, Western Australia in 2008.
Dr. Lee is a Key Opinion Leader in the eye health industry and has received numerous awards for presenting his research at the Cannes Retinal Festival as well as the Asia Pacific Association of Cataract & Refractive Surgeons (APACRS). He has also received Achievement Awards from the Malaysian Society of Ophthalmology (MSO) and the Asia Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology (APAO). He was the Past President of the Malaysian Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgery (MSCRS) and is currently a Board member of the APACRS.
Currently, Dr Lee is also a Visiting Consultant at Perak Community Specialist Hospital and KPJ Ipoh Specialist Hospital.
Dr. Lim Eng Hock

Dr. Lim Eng Hock is a Resident Consultant Ophthalmologist at LEC Eye Centre and has been a vital member of the medical team since 2005. ... After completing his medical education at Mangalore University, he embarked on his Masters in Ophthalmology studies with University Hospital from June 1999 to December 2003.Dr. Lim is a very experienced and competent cataract and anterior segment surgeon who has performed thousands of eye surgeries including cataract surgeries with advanced technology intraocular lenses.
Currently, Dr. Lim is the Head of the Myopia Control Programme in LEC and also a Visiting Consultant at Perak Community Specialist Hospital and KPJ Ipoh Specialist Hospital.
Dr. Ummi Kalsom Binti Mohd Ali

Dr. Ummi Kalsom Mohd Ali is a Resident Consultant Ophthalmologist with vast clinical
...and surgical experience in treating a wide range of eye diseases. She is a graduate from University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur and she completed the HUKM Master Programme in Ophthalmology in 2005.
She has been a very active educator and was a Lecturer at the Royal Perak College of Medicine and Co-Supervisor for Post Graduate Students in Ophthalmology as well as eye education for Post Basic Medical Assistants and nursing students.
Currently, she is the Head of Training & Education at LEC and also the Head of Ophthalmology Services at Perak Community Specialist Hospital.
Dr. Ng Hong Kee

Dr. Ng Hong Kee is a consultant ophthalmologist and Glaucoma Specialist ...at Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun, Ipoh and is currently also a sessional consultant at LEC Eye Centre. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Masters of Medicine (Ophthalmology) from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), and Fellowship in Glaucoma at Royal Perth Hospital, Western Australia.
